TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These Terms and Conditions apply to Guests and Partners (as defined below) using or booking services at Mai Chau Hideaway Resort. Guests, Partners, and Hideaway Resort are referred to individually as “Parties” and collectively as “Parties,” as applicable in These Terms and Conditions.
Guests/Partners agree and acknowledge that booking requests must be submitted in writing. Mai Chau Hideaway booking confirmations will be based on room availability at the time of booking. Bookings confirmed by telephone will not be valid.
Children eligible for discounts must present a birth certificate or passport upon check-in at the Reception desk.

ARTICLE 1. DEFINITION
• “Mai Chau Hideaway” means MAI CHAU HIDEAWAY TOURISM AND RESORT COMPANY LIMITED.
• “General Regulations” means the regulations that Guests must comply with during their stay and use of Services at Mai Chau Hideaway, which may be amended or supplemented at the sole discretion of Mai Chau Hideaway from time to time and posted on Mai Chau Hideaway's Website.
• “Services” include accommodation services, events/banquets, Vouchers, or other supplementary services provided by Mai Chau Hideaway to Guests/Partners.
• “FIT Service Confirmation” means Mai Chau Hideaway's confirmation of the Service Request submitted by FIT Guests/Partners regarding the booking of accommodation services, Vouchers, or other supplementary services for FIT Guests, following the standard form attached to these General Terms.
• “GIT Service Confirmation” means Mai Chau Hideaway's confirmation of the Service Request submitted by GIT Guests/Partners regarding the booking of accommodation services, organizing events at the resort, Vouchers, or other supplementary services for GIT Guests, following the standard form attached to these General Terms.
• “Service Reduction/Cancellation Request” means the request from Guests/Partners regarding the reduction or cancellation of rooms and events, following the standard service reduction/cancellation request form attached to these General Terms.
• “Guest” means an individual who uses Mai Chau Hideaway's services for direct personal consumption and not for resale to other individuals or organizations.
• “Partner” means travel agencies / tour operators / enterprises / organizations / individuals entering into contracts with Mai Chau Hideaway.
• “FIT (Free Independent Traveler)” means a Guest or a group of Guests with a room booking quantity in the Service Request of maximum 01 - 09 rooms/night.
• “GIT (Group Inclusive Tour)” means a group of Guests with a room booking quantity in the Room Request of 10 rooms/night or more, or other services (banquets, events, and other services).
• “Room Reduction/Cancellation” refers to cases of changing Room Booking Requests, including but not limited to changes in check-in date, reduction in the number of rooms booked, or reduction in the number of nights stayed as confirmed by Mai Chau Hideaway.
• “Weekend” refers to Friday and Saturday of each week;
• “Weekday” refers to days of the week excluding Weekends.
• “Day” means a calendar day.

ARTICLE 2. CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT REGULATIONS:
• Check-in time at Mai Chau Hideaway is from 14:00 on the date of arrival.
• Check-out time at Mai Chau Hideaway is no later than 12:00.
• In case of late check-out or early check-in, prior consent from Party A is required. The additional charges are as follows:
o Late check-out before 18:00 on the same day: Additional charge of ½ night room rate.
o Late check-out after 18:00 on the same day: Additional charge of 1 night room rate.
o Early check-in before 08:00 AM on the same day: Additional charge of 1 night room rate.

ARTICLE 3. CANCELLATION POLICY

Any cancellation made prior to 31 days Free of charge, date change permitted
From 30 days prior to check-in 100% of total cost

ARTICLE 4: STAY REGULATIONS
• The maximum occupancy per room at Hideaway is applied as follows: 04 persons (02 adults and 02 children under 5 years old).
• Mandatory extra bed for adults / children (from 12 years old and above): VND 600,000 / person / night.
• Extra bed for children (from 05 to under 11 years old) upon request: VND 600,000 / person / night.
• Surcharge for children (from 05 to under 11 years old) without an extra bed: VND 180,000 / person / night.
• Only 01 extra bed can be added per room (Executive room types and Bungalows can fit up to 02 extra beds/room).

ARTICLE 5: GENERAL REGULATIONS
• Pets are strictly not allowed in the Hideaway area.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in non-designated areas and/or inside guest rooms or the Hideaway premises.
• Behave properly in public areas: Respect the first-come, first-served order; Give priority to pregnant women, disabled people, the elderly, and the infirm; Do not make noise or shout; Do not place feet or put legs on chairs and refrain from other uncultured behaviors in public areas; Supervise children in public areas.
• Please return the room key to the Reception staff upon performing check-out procedures at Hideaway.
• Please keep valuable items in the in-room safety deposit box or deposit them at the Reception desk. Hideaway shall bear no legal responsibility for any loss or damage to personal property if Guests fail to comply with this regulation.
• When leaving the room, Guests must ensure (i) all electrical appliances are restored to their original status; (ii) the room door is securely locked; and (iii) the room key is not given to others.
• Cooking inside the room is strictly prohibited. Electrical equipment must be used for its intended purpose.
• Outside food and beverages are not allowed to be brought into Hideaway.
• Strong-smelling fruits (durian, grilled meat...) are not allowed inside Hideaway rooms.
• Bringing any weapons, chemicals, or explosives into the Hideaway area is strictly forbidden.
• Certain items in the guest room will be charged if lost or damaged/broken.
• Illegal activities inside Hideaway, such as gambling, prostitution, or drug use, are strictly prohibited.
• In case visitors come to visit Guests at the Hideaway area, Guests are requested to notify the Reception desk. For security reasons, visitors are not allowed in guest rooms after 20:00. If Guests wish to invite visitors to stay overnight, the visitors must register with Hideaway Reception and pay the accommodation fees according to Hideaway's regulations.
• Guests using the swimming pool after 19:00 must ensure and take full responsibility for their own safety, health, and life, without any claims against Hideaway.
• Hideaway Management reserves the right to request Guests to leave Hideaway without any refund if they intentionally ignore and violate Hideaway's rules and regulations.
